Iruma Medley

I was born in Indonesia, to an Indonesian mother and a Japanese father. Since I was a little girl, I was exposed to many varieties of food from different countries both at home and eating out at local eateries and larger hotels. Food has always been important me, both as a child and now as a mother to two growing boys.

I have always enjoyed experimenting in the kitchen, trying out new recipes and seeing how I can change them to work better for me, I love both Western food and food from my Asian heritage. Some of my favourite chefs are Neil Perry and Adam Liaw. Recently I teamed up with my good friend Liana, so that we could share our passion for cooking with people in Perth.
